Game News Elden Ring: a UFC star in a new trailer under pressure

Even three months after its release, Elden Ring has not completed its communication campaign. FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have just released a new live-action trailer, this time featuring a well-known MMA fighter.

A sharp speech

It’s now been three months since Elden Ring gave itself up to us and it looks like the media madness surrounding it still hasn’t died down. Not content with having sold a huge number of copies in a few weeks – a score that must have increased significantly since – publisher Bandai Namco continues to push the envelope with unexpected partnerships.

The latest brings back Israel Adesanya in a new live-action trailer: the MMA fighter, UFC middleweight champion in October 2019 and interim champion in 2020, then gives a speech that could well motivate more than one. It must be said that the fight and perseverance, it knows him rather well.

Sharpen the swords

This is not the first time that a star in the flesh has taken part in the marketing campaign of the famous Elden Ring: last March, it was Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian, The Book of Bobba Fett ) who was poking a head in a trailer with similar remarks. We imagine that we will be entitled to another figure of modern culture, one of these four.

As for Elden Ring himself, we suspect that he will be present at the Game Awards 2022 next December, during which many are predicting victory for him. Remember, however, that a certain God of War Ragnarok will also land this year, promising a nice showdown with the title of FromSoftware. Moreover, according to rumors, the Santa Monica Studios game would give details tomorrow, Thursday June 30, on its release date. Either way, fingers crossed for that.
