Game News PS5: the PlayStation VR2 finally offers a very first photo, to see here

It’s a first. The PlayStation VR2 has finally just revealed itself with a very first snapshot, allowing us to see it a little better and differently than through trailers or promotional images. So, what does it look like?

VR infinity and beyond

Announced quite a while ago now, we had to wait months and months to get a first official look at the PS VR2 controllers and then the PS VR2 itself. LSony’s famous virtual reality headset, however, did not show its superb – well, not concretely – during the State of Play which was partly dedicated to it: instead, we had a focus on some of the games that will make up his line-up… and it was already very good.

But this Thursday, June 30, we are entitled to a small “world premiere”: the very first shot of the PlayStation VR2. No promotional image, nor trailer at the limit of the CGI, but well a photo taken by developer Bit Planet Games showing off the headset and its pads on a sofa, period. The opportunity to see a little more concretely what the object will look like, him and his dimensions.

A new game confirmed by the way?

Incidentally, clarification that the studio would not have broken the confidentiality agreement with Sony despite the unpublished nature of the photo: “if we had done it six months ago, yes”, he rightly replied on Twitter. And yet, the image has since been deleted from the social network … The Texan firm has also taken the opportunity to teaser a brand new game for the PSVR2, probably Ultrawings 2, its wacky, cartoonish aviation title.

We will obviously wait for a conformation, but here is potentially one more member in the cast in addition to Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Resident Evil Village, No Man’s Sky, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution or even VR content from the Resident Evil 4 remake. In total, twenty games should make up the launch of the helmet, the output of which is still not known.
