Saturday July 9, Deva Cassel caused a sensation at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show organized in Syracuse. Monica Bellucci, a proud mother, was in the front row to admire her daughter on the podium.
Like Mother like daughter ! Between Monica Bellucci and Dolce&Gabbana, it’s a love story that has lasted for years. And now the daughter, Deva Cassel, is also falling in love with the Italian brand. In 2020, she had already played the muse for the brand by lending her face to a perfume campaign, before returning the cover in May 2022 for the Dolce Lily fragrance. And this weekend, it was not in a photo of an advertising spot but in the flesh on the podium of the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show that the 17-year-old young woman played the models. To present its fall-winter 2022/2023 haute couture collection, the Italian house had settled down in the city of Syracuse, in Sicily. Many were the celebrities to have made the trip there, like Mariah Carey, Sharon Stone or Monica Bellucci.
The latter, very close to the label, is regularly present in the front row, when she is not invited to parade. This season, however, the actress had every reason to be in on the action, as it’s not every day that her own offspring walks the catwalk of an iconic brand.
Glamorous Deva Cassel in a sheer veil dress
Captivating, Deva Cassel appeared with her face haloed by her recognizable mane of brown curls, the melancholic gaze and the hemmed mouth, like his illustrious mother. She wore a sheer veil dress stitched with pale pink rhinestone embroidery revealing dark lingerie that contrasted against her fair skin. Finally, the young woman had on her feet flat, satiny shoes as well as long gloves in transparent black veil which went up almost to her shoulders. A glamorous yet romantic look that was reminiscent of a modern version of the Italian Renaissance.
