L’future of Arnaud Kalimuendo, the PSG striker, is pending in the capital. If he leaves the reigning French champion club, the 20-year-old young striker could stay in Ligue 1. Indeed, as revealed The Team, Stade Rennais and OGC Nice are candidates for his arrival. Kalimuendo, he would see himself staying in Paris, but his club is looking for cash.
Can Stade Rennais and OGC Nice afford Kalimuendo?
Trained at PSG, the striker comes out of two seasons on loan at Racing Club de Lens, with whom he scored 12 goals in Ligue 1 last year. His rating on the market has therefore increased and according to Transfermarkt, the player is estimated today at 18 million euros. At the Football Observatory, Kalimuendo no longer has a current valuation, but it was around 35 million euros, at the end of the 2021-2022 season.
The PSG striker is under contract until 2024
The former Lensois is linked to his training club for another two years, i.e. until June 2024. After a convincing season in the north, Arnaud Kalimuendo would finally like to win at PSG and get more playing time. Parisian leaders do not think the same thing and would like to separate from their attacker, who has a good market value on this transfer window. The arrival of Hugo Ékitiké, from Reims, also darkens, a little more, the future of the Parisian titi in his heart club. Especially since the English club of Leeds has made several offers to PSG in excess of €20 million. Stade Rennais and OGC Nice will have to take out the checkbook.
