Now directed by Emmanuel Tourpe, ex-RTBF and ex-Arte, le petit Poucet intends to consolidate its place as the “first channel” of continuous information in French-speaking Belgium. More content, more synergies, more media visibility: this is the bet taken by the new management structure of this media whose audacity has been great since its birth in September 2019, but whose indebtedness has required this integration into one of the major groups in French-speaking Belgium. For its first within IPM, LN24 extends its wings since it takes over the frequency of its colleague DH radio: a long-standing project which had been slowed down… by IPM. “More than a filiation, it is a real marriage between DH Radio and LN24 which took place”, underlines Emmanuel Tourpe. Line of action: a mix of music and news. Good news never comes alone, LN24 will also receive public aid of 500,000 euros promised in October 2021 and confirmed by Minister-President Pierre-Yves Jeholet (MR) for this start of the school year to “bring out the skills of the Wallonia- Brussels”.
