The Lakers are still squinting on several stars, in order to strengthen their roster and go back to the quest for the title. One of them will be a free agent next year, and he announced the color according to an analyst: his salary will have to be higher than currently.
Patrick Beverley was finally a decisive first acquisition for the Lakers recently, but it will take more for Darvin Ham’s squad to be considered a contender again. This is all the more the case since the rotation managers have not changed, and therefore other pieces must be added as quickly as possible. Some targets have already been found for them, with a focus on Indiana in particular.
Indeed, the Purples and Golds have been flirting with the Pacers for a while now, taking a close interest in Buddy Hield and Myles Turner. The second would do a lot of good at the pivot position, with his far from bad shot and his blocking skills. Small precision, the big man will however be a free agent in a year, which implies that LA will have to quickly re-sign him on the long term. Gold, Michael Scotto of Hoopshype thinks this will be done at a higher rate than the lease he currently holds:
Myles Turner wants 20 million per year from 2023

Myles Turner will be a free agent next summer, and he’ll want a raise from what he’s currently earning. From what I hear, he will be looking for more than $20 million a year. This is something you need to consider if you want to make a trade for Turner.
It should be noted that the person concerned certainly has an 80 million contract over four years in Indiana, but that 10 million are not guaranteed, in the form of a bonus. This time however, none of that for him and he wants the full sum insured. The advantage for Los Angeles is that the salary cap will increase and that with the planned departure of Russell Westbrook in June 2023, they will release almost $50 million in salary. For Californian supporters, it is therefore imperative to give it a try:
Lakers gonna have cap space

The Lakers will have space under the cape for that
@Lakers make the trade 🔥🔥🔥

Trade for him, Lakers 🔥🔥🔥
Myles Turner wants his salary to be increased, but the increase would not be that huge and the Lakers could therefore have a real chance of acquiring him in the long term. On the side of the fans, we only ask that.
