The Group of 10, which brings together employers and unions, calls on Thursday, in a joint declaration, for all employers, salaried and self-employed workers to telework as far as possible.
“Partial teleworking should at least be the rule for all the functions that lend themselves to it and insofar as the continuity of the management of the company, its activities and its services as well as the well-being of the workers allow it. “, declares the Group of 10 who believes that this measure can help limit the spread of the coronavirus.
“Telework is not made compulsory by law as it was the case a few months ago, but the social partners nevertheless make a strong call for the use of telework where possible. The increase in telework should reduce the number of contacts in the workplace and on public transport and, therefore, also limit the number of contaminations by COVID-19”, add the social partners.
The Group of 10 also asks the Concertation Committee to rely fully, for the subsequent control of the pandemic, on the vaccination of unvaccinated persons, the rapid deployment of the necessary booster vaccination of persons already vaccinated, the application of all measures and all instruments in force and the effective use of a more efficient Covid Safe Ticket.
Finally, the Group of 10 recommends continuing to apply the “Generic guide to combating the spread of COVID-19 at work”.
