Elia’s CEO, high-voltage network operator, Chris Peeters, has been named “Trends Manager of the Year 2021”.
Sébastien Dossogne, CEO of Magotteaux, a world leader in grinding process optimization solutions for various industries, was named Wednesday Manager of the Year 2021 by the magazine trends. Thirty-seventh winner of the prize, he succeeds Fabien Pinckaers, founder and CEO of Odoo, a management software company. The CEO of Magotteaux, born in 1971, received his prize from the hands of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, present for the occasion.
His group, a subsidiary of Sigdo Koppers, headquartered in Santiago, Chile, is present in 27 countries with commercial offices. It has 14 production lines and is involved in three joint ventures (one in South Africa and two in China). Its global market covers more than 150 countries. It employs a total of 3,200 people across the planet, including 10% in Belgium. Its head office is located in Vaux-sous-Chèvremont (province of Liège, on the banks of the Vesdre).
In 2020, the Magotteaux group, which produces high-performance parts for crushing and grinding, used in mines, quarries, and recycling sites, achieved a turnover of 650 million dollars.
