It’s in Tokyo that Trends is setting up shop with the launch of an agency that offers: corporate relations, influencer relations, brand content and brand strategy. Trends Tokyo has surrounded itself with a local team made up of Tomoaki Moribe, general manager, and Megumi Roberts, director of PR and influence. Tomoaki Moribe spent 14 years at Nike until becoming marketing director of Nike Tokyo, then became brand director of Beats by Dre in Japan, before joining Apple as head of programming. Megumi Roberts was head of PR at Moet Hennessy Diageo in Japan, and influencer relationship manager at Cartier. In particular, she recently collaborated on the good work of the pop-up Moet & Chandon x Ambush in Tokyo. The agency specifies that it wants to create “cultural and operational bridges between France and Japan”, to allow “European brands to establish themselves in Asia, Japanese brands to establish themselves in Europe, but above all Japanese brands to develop on their territory with a grain of French touch and European culture“. Trends paris is an independent reputation marketing agency created by Sarah Sandra Taïbi and Jean-Baptiste Quesnay in 2016. Its clients include the brands Puma, Orangina, Maytea, Schweppes, Uber Eats and Pernod Ricard.
