Despite a very positive 6-1 record in 2022, the New York Giants are once again considered the underdog by the bookmakers for their duel against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
The formation of the Big Apple could thus prove to be profitable during the eighth week of activities of the NFL. Here are four bets to try on Mise-o-jeu:
Giants win v. Seahawks – 2.40
The Giants aren’t in uncharted territory as they will be the sixth underdog in eight games this season. They have also won each of their five games in this role. Legitimate Coach of the Year contender Brian Daboll could add another argument with a win. The surprising Seattle Seahawks are not to be taken lightly, however, but the Giants should take the win and receive more respect from the bookmakers going forward.
Jets win v. Patriots – 2.25
Like the other New York team, the Jets have yet to fully earn the respect of the pundits, who have deemed them the underdog six of seven occasions in 2022. The men in green have won four of their duels in such circumstances. They haven’t lost a single of their four games since quarterback Zach Wilson returned to play. An important section duel, at home, should serve as an additional source of motivation.
Dolphins win by at least four points c. Leos – 1.90
The Miami Dolphins have had a recent slump offensively, dropping three straight while scoring less than 20 points each time. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s comeback in the final game, however, brought them a win. Moreover, the Dolphins have not lost a single game in 2022 when their pivot played the entire game. They should thus be able to take advantage of a Detroit Lions team which is still experiencing failures this season.
Bills win by at least 11 points c. Packers – 1.90
The Buffalo Bills feel no mercy for their opponents in 2022 no matter what state they are in, as evidenced by their three wins by 20 or more points this season, including two at home. For their part, Aaron Rodgers and his gang have suffered defeat in their last three games, each time in unconvincing fashion, including their most recent, against the poor Washington Commanders.
