The club has secured Detroit Lions tight end TJ Hockenson. According to the NFL Network, the Vikings would have given up a second-round pick in 2023 and a third-round pick in 2024. Two conditional choices (2023 and 2024) would take the direction of Minnesota.

The 25-year-old footballer is considered by many to be one of the top 10 players playing at his position in the Goodell circuit. He also has a contract valid until the end of the 2023 season.

In seven games this season, Hockenson caught 26 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns.

The Vikings (6-1) currently dominate the North Division of the National Conference, while the Lions (1-6) are fourth and last in the same division.

Help for Justin Fields

The Chicago Bears have secured Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool.

In return, the Pennsylvania squad got a second-round pick.

The Bears (3-5) needed weapons to help their quarterback Justin Fields. The Canadian receiver is currently playing his third season in the NFL and has amassed more than 800 yards in his first two laps on the prestigious circuit.

This season, he had 32 catches for 311 yards and a major in eight games. Claypool also threw a touchdown pass last Sunday in his last game for the Steelers (2-6).
