NFL: injuries for JuJu Smith-Schuster and Jerry Jeudy

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster left the matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a concussion.

During the 2nd quarter, Smith-Schuster was hit in the head by safety Andre Cisco as he tried to secure a catch.

No penalty was awarded on the disturbing sequence where Smith-Schuster remained on the ground for long minutes.

Smith-Schuster leads the Chiefs wide receivers with 46 receptions for 615 yards this season.

He caught two passes for 33 yards during the game.

The Chiefs also lost tackle Andrew Wylie and cornerback Chris Lammons during the game.

Another Broncos receiver falls in action

Jerry Jeudy was added to the list of Denver Broncos wide receivers who were injured in Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

Jeudy hurt his left ankle on the Broncos’ first game. Quarterback Russell Wilson tried to reach Jeudy, but Jeudy fell to the turf as Wilson released the ball, and he immediately grabbed the back of his left ankle.

Jeudy’s injury is another blow to Broncos receiver depth, as Tim Patrick injured his knee in training camp and KJ Hamler is also injured and was out for the game.
