Carlos Brito takes over as head of the Belron group – Companies

(Belga) The former boss of AB InBev, Carlos Brito, will become next March the new CEO of Belron, the subsidiary of D’Ieteren specializing in automotive glass. Gary Lubner, CEO of Belron since 2000, will remain a member of the board of directors after the transition, announced Wednesday the importer of Volkswagen in Belgium.

“Focused on execution and caring for people, Carlos Brito is a perfect fit for Belron’s culture. He has all the skills required to lead the company in its next stage of sustainable and responsible development”, commented D’Ieteren in a press release. The headquarters of Belron, in which D’Ieteren holds just over half of the shares, is located in England. Active in 37 countries, the company specializes in the repair and replacement of vehicle glass. Last year, it achieved a turnover of 4.6 billion euros. It employs 30,000 people.
