Tom Brady with the Alouettes?

Tom Brady with the Alouettes?

Perhaps Montreal Alouettes general manager Danny Maciocia should try to contact quarterback Tom Brady to offer to lead his offense in 2023.

Earlier this week, the holder of seven Super Bowl rings said he would like to play in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

“Hopefully I’ll be able to play in the CFL at some point and see what I can do up there. [au Canada]because things are going pretty well for me out of the country,” Brady said during his appearance on the “Let’s Go!” podcast.

It was obviously a joke on the part of the pivot of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He made the comment in connection with his successes when his team plays outside of the United States.

Last Sunday, Brady and the “Bucs” defeated the Seattle Seahawks 21-16 in a matchup featured in Munich, Germany. It was the fourth time the 45-year-old has tasted the bliss of international victory since the start of his NFL career. It is also a circuit record for a quarterback.

Returning to the CFL, Brady mentioned that his former New England Patriots teammate Doug Flutie had “always said good things” about his experience on the Canadian circuit. The former quarterback played eight seasons in the CFL, playing for the BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts.
