Memphis Depay blew up social media with his celebration after propelling the Netherlands ahead against the United States.
The Barcelona striker, who has struggled for form this season, broke the deadlock in the tenth minute in the final World Cup clash.

Barcelona striker Depay appeared to copy Antonio Brown’s ‘Put That S*** On’ dance
Former NFL wide receiver Brown showcased the dance earlier this summer
Former Manchester United striker Depay was chosen unmarked by Denzel Dumfries just inside the box.
And the 28-year-old curled the ball beautifully into the far corner with a first finish beyond the outstretched arms of Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner.
He then appeared to pull out the ‘Put That S*** On’ dance – made famous by NFL icon Antonio Brown.
Wide receiver Brown, who is a free agent after being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in January, showed off his new move this summer.
Since then, a number of active players, including Charles Pickens and Travis Kelce, have decided to reenact the dance that has become a craze in the NFL.
And now Depay has joined in the finger dancing act, with social media stunned.

Not just because Brown, 34, has a warrant for his arrest in Tampa over a domestic battery incident involving a woman.
Commenting on Depay, one Twitter user said: “Memphis Depay hitting Antonio Brown’s celebration is WILD PROBLEMATIC. »
Another posted: “Memphis Depay did Antonio Brown put this shit on the celebration of absolute shit in the United States. »
A third added: “Not Depay doing the Antonio Brown dance. »

This supporter then said: “Wonderful that Depay took the small step of Antonio Brown in the World Cup.
Meanwhile, another simply said, “High level trolling. »
talkSPORT’s Dean Ashton instead praised Depay for his big strike.
Speaking on the comment, he remarked: “He steps inside the 18-yard box and he whips it through Turner in the far corner.
“It was just a very, very good counter-attack. »
Before adding: “It was not the end of someone who lacked confidence. »
Depay has been limited to just two La Liga appearances this season after suffering thigh problems.
Daley Blind added a second goal just before half-time in a near carbon copy of Depay’s opener.
