In the spirit! Chris Pratt shared a festive photo of two of her children spending time together ahead of the holidays.
The guardians of the galaxy star, 43, uploaded a cute snap via Instagram of his son Jack, 10, bonding with his little sister Lyla, 2, while looking for their elf on the shelf. “Freddy the elf is back for 4th year,” Pratt captioned Sunday, Dec. 18 on social media. “This year he brought his sister Angel. The magic of Christmas is here. If anything is missing in the house, I blame Angel.
In the photo, Jack had his back to the camera as he spotted two of the holiday dolls hidden in a houseplant. Lyla stood next to him wearing a pretty floral dress.
The Parks and recreation alum became a father in 2012, welcoming his son with Anna Faris. The former couple were married from 2009 to 2018. Pratt moved on with Catherine Schwarzenegger the same year her divorce from house rabbit the actress, 46, was finalized, and the duo tied the knot in June 2019. (Faris, meanwhile, got married Michel Barrette in 2021.)
Since it ceased, the Mom alum and Pratt have worked hard to remain cordial co-parents. “[We make] sure that [Jack’s] surrounded by lots of love and happiness,” Faris said exclusively. Faris recently praised Schwarzenegger for being an “awesome” stepmom to her baby boy. “She is just above. I love the way she is with Jack,” the Scary Movie star said. People in November, adding that she feels “much closer” to Pratt and his wife than before. “It’s much easier now that the time has passed. It really feels good not to live with this internal whirlwind of unpleasantness.
Although the exes hit solid ground, they still encountered their fair share of drama. In November 2021, Pratt thanked the rock what you got author in an Instagram tribute for giving her “a beautiful, healthy daughter” – which some fans interpreted as a dig at Faris. The co-parents seem to have walked away from the social media scandal.
