Marvel Studios tops 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominations

The MTV Movie & TV Awards which reward the best of cinema and television and which are awarded by Internet users are back for a new edition to be held on June 5, 2022. The nominations were communicated on May 11, 2022 and disney dominates most categories in particular thanks to its content broadcast on Disney+ and HULU. Last year, Wanda Vision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier were on the list.

Between films and series, marvel studios has 17 nominations in total. Comes next HULU who collects four citations thanks to the series Only Murders in the Building, The Dropout and Pam & Tommy. One nomination goes to Encanto oddly enough and it’s not for the Best Animated Feature category.
